Mufasa Edit:
Bringing this thread back with a new thread subject... This is a thread of fun locking on Sonic & Knuckles in unusual and outrageous ways. XD
Super Mario World. I always wanted to play Super Mario World with Knuckles. Never seemed to work though...

Shit is that a rip from a rom with knuckles or is it just a paint job?
I used to put streets of rage 1 in. Aswell as the usual sonic 3. Couldn't play sonic 3 alone, i hated the mini boss music!

Paint job. That would be a fun ROM hack though. :)

Hmm this gives me a plan. I've actually started making my own hack of Sonic 2 by adding a character of my own. Maybe ill try one day of hacking a mario bros game.

Nice work Mufasa. Now that is something I would like to play!
What else could I suggest eh? Actually, there is one game I'd love to lock onto Sonic & Knuckles. Zelda: Ocarina of Time - that would be awesome. Could never get that to work either oddly.

The other one I tried a few times was Grand Theft Auto III. I kept trying to get the DVD-ROM to go into the lock-on but it would never go...

Of course that didn't work, there are no metal connectors. You can't lock a CD/DVD onto a cartridge! :P
This is just getting silly now. :P

Well, it's not that much more difficult than locking-on a SNES or N64 cart! lol
I love this thread.
What about sonic and knuckles on sonic and knuckles? Or even stil loads of sonic and knuckles then sonic to top it off?!

That reminds me of a bit o' Sega trivia... What happens when you lock 2x Genesis/Mega Drive Game Genies (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Game_Genie) onto a normal (non-locking) game (for arguments sake, Streets of Rage 2)?
Do you get two sets of code screens and then your game starts?
Is the answer any different if you have 2x Game Genie, then Sonic & Knuckles, then Sonic The Hedgehog 2?
Kudos to the person that posts a picture of either of these scenarios. It was fun when I did it... ^_^
I too would love to see that!
I know Sonic and Knuckles on Sonic and Knuckles doesn't change anything, i tried it when i was 6 or so. Used a mates copy. I swore there were new Robotnik TV's in Mushroom hill, but on a recent glance, they've always been there,XD.

Guess you already have the 32X too?
That song in the background is from Sonic 2!

I think its a common misconception (http://www.s2beta.com/zones/dust_hill) that Mystic Cave Zone, named Dust Hill Zone in a Sonic 2 Beta, has something to do with the lost desert level. That is probably why they put Mystic Cave music to the image.

I didn't see the 32X!
So, can anyone lend me 2 copies of Sonic & Knuckles and a 32X?
