I am looking forward to hearing those remixes.
Meh, not too excited, as it's mostly stuff after the 16-bit era. Only one I'd really like to have on CD is Sonic Boom from Sonic CD.

Which if you own the original game you already have it on CD.
Sonic CD allowed you to rip the songs from the disc onto your computer? Did all Saturn games allow this?

You play Sonic CD in a normal CD player and you can listen to the tracks. As for Sega Saturn games it works with about 60% of them. Sonic 3D and NiGHTS are good examples.
Yay! Though, are you able to rip them of the disc if you put them into a computer disc drive?

That's how I got my version of it.
Looks like a good album. Might buy it later this year. Best thing about the latest games are the music. Shouldn't be but is, ah well. Hopefully the remixes are good and well done otherwise it would just ruin the music. I will be going through "21 OPEN YOUR HEART (Crush 40 vs. Bentley Jones Remix)" with a fine comb since I love the original.

Got this and the NiGHTS: Journey into Dreams soundtracks coming (shipped today).
I had no idea what the track listing was, I just knew it was going to be awesome. This is better than I hoped.

Don't worry, I'll be glad the assist you once one of my "sources" come through, and they normally ALWAYS do.
I'll keep you in my "to PM prior to" list.
EDIT: As for actually buying the CD, there should be some pretty simple locations (mentioned earlier in topic), but I can't remember them from the top of my head at the moment.

To buy it try
www.cdjapan.co.jp
www.vgmworld.com
www.play-asia.com
And don't expect a US or UK release. It aint going to happen. The only exception so far has been a slimmed down version of Sonic Adventure 2.
So get your order in now before they become even harder to get hold of.
This one looks interesting. Lot's of great games music in general!! Hopefully my wallet will have some money in it soon and not only collecting dust......

F**kin awesome, Crush 40's remix of Seven Rings in Hand sounds better then the original and that version of Angel Island makes me want SSBB even more.

I noticed that this link does not contain every track from said soundtrack (not even the full version of "RACE TO WIN"). As such, I'll continue to keep a full eye out for this. Needless to say, it was still good to have access to the remixes.

Aye, sorry about that. I just put the link up because it had the remixes that people here were dying to listen to. I am also searching for the full upload. Hopefully one of us will come through.

Would the CD work in America?

Yes, CDs are universal they have no regions like DVDs.

Funny you should mention that.
We (the Norwich City Concert Band) made our own 10th Anniversary Concert CD.
I took it to America last April (2007) with me to give as a gift to one of my American friends.
The CD wouldn't play on their players, but it did play on their computer.
Whether this is because it was made for us by a local studio and not by a record label, I don't know, but based on my own experience, I'm a bit dubious about importing CDs.

Finally found all of the bonus tracks on the disc that have been reworked from the originals. The ones that arent up for download are the same and you should already have them.

Made your own concert CD... Sounds like consumer burner job and/or media.

Yeah it very well could be the media/burn job itself. For instance, many car stereos won't play CDRW media. Also if your CD was data encoded instead of audio encoded that can play a big factor. Failing to close your burn session can also impact compatibility with certain players.
Downloading the remastered/remixed tracks from True Blue now. Might have to get a hold of the album if the tracks are any good.

I'm somewhat of a collector, so this CD is right up my alley. I'm glad to see that the awesome SSBB Angel Island remix found a home somewhere. I still have a lot of other albums to get though, and some of them aren't exactly new. I guess I'll have to wait until I've grabbed the Sonic Heroes vocal album and Shadow album before I take a shot at this one.

Love the album. I love the Angel Island Brawl Remix and the New Venture Remix. AWESOME!!! I think that the Crush 40 version of Seven Rings in Hand was a little shaky though. Cool Greatest Hits-type album. Next time, they should do EVERY Sonic game!
