Gender in gaming

Rate this Entry
The reason I choose to play as females in RPGs is because I'm more comfortable with looking at a woman for several hours of game time, compared to playing as a male. I also enjoy making my characters look the way I want them to. Which nearly always means a dark elf with piercings.

In other genres, however, I couldn't care less what gender the character is that I'm using. As long as they have an awesome personality or decent skills, then I will look past their gender.
