http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=7yUJiLyMWjc
Phantasy Star Online 2 was announces at TGS for the 10th anniversary. I didn't find alot of information except for now its only on PC.
Seems like alot of people have been waiting for this.
What about you guys?

Isn't there already a PSO episode 2?
-
its called pso episode 2 and not pso 2 episode 2 for a reason :P
-
Holy crap, holy crap, holy crap I just shat myself. WITH HOLY CRAP.
Seriously, this has made my entire year!!
If it's PC only, then I'm gonna need to get my PC fixed in time, or get a new one, cos there is no way in Hell that I would miss out on this, especially if it is just as awesome as Blue Burst was ^_^
Edit: Also, we'll be needing a Radio Sega guild for PSO2. Seriously >_>
-
OH yes!!! Cant wait for this! New laptop is needed! There wasnt and ep 2 it was 1.5, upped the level cap etc etc...

There was a PSO version 1.5, but they also created Episode 2 which introduced the more open Jungle area and the underwater Seabed area, but that was just for the GameCube and Xbox I think, it wasn't on the Dreamcast.
Then there was Episode 3, which was the card game version on the GameCube.
And the last one before it became Phantasy Star Universe was Episode 4: Blue Burst, which introduced the Crater and Desert areas. This was exclusive to PC and introduced teams, which was basically a Clan/Guild system. They never brought that back, but it was a really good addition. I hope PSO2 has a similar idea!

If it's got an offline mode, I'm excited.
If not, and it's a somewhat crappy story mode like PSU, I might have to give it a miss.
-
I'm hoping it'll be like the original in terms of how the story works. The story mode for PSU was a good idea, in theory, but it would never have stood on its own as a RPG without the online.
-
I'm truly hyped.
Though I am literally praying for them to adopt the "F2P" scheme like NCsoft did with Guild Wars (and worked)
PSO/U and Guild Wars are the ONLY MMORPGs that I truly enjoy.

If it's a fiver or month or something, I wouldn't mind paying that. That was roughly what Blue Burst was.
