This is actually a nerd fest I would love to go to. Loads of pinball machines and arcade cabs and tournaments. But sadly won't be anywhere near that part of the country when it's on. Still don't get this recent fascination with dressing up as cartoon characters for these things either.
Tic Tac, sir?

So, I went to the first film of this year's "Scotland Loves Anime" festival yesterday. The film was "Rebuild of Evangelion 3.0: You can (Not) Redo". Don't worry, I won't bore you with details for the film, it was a bit of a (enjoyable) mess to be honest. "That's (Not) Mai Waifu" might've been a better subtitle, but something interesting did happen on the way there:

Is asking "How the hell did that happen?" a silly question?

I'm guessing Hideaki Anno threw out his originally planned script for 3.0 about halfway into production. Especially if you compare the final film to the preview that was shown at the end of 2.22.

I lost my keys today.

But who cares, Kaito's story sounds a lot more exciting.

I'm guessing gone up an embankment to avoid an oncoming lorry but ended up toppling it?

For the record I really don't like those cars.
