They are SATA, my server runs off of SATA drives, they transport to the other server via iSCSI though.

I was looking at some SCSI to SATA, see how much a speed boost the 15K SCSI drive would be over a standard 5400 or 7200 SATA

As the ram in there is already ECC, plus it was cheaper than non ECC ram oddly enough.

Edit: Plus a bit of googling revealed that the bios in these "Performance" models aren't too keen on non ECC ram unless it's a specific brand.
