Book of Memoires looks a little naff I guess, I tried the demo and it felt so different. Good thing it's a spin off, also SH3 is my fav too, and that's not just because of Heather. XD

Origins and Homecoming are quite bad.

For me it's 2 > Shattered Memories > 3.

3 loses a lot of points for its ridiculous shakespear puzzle. Also I just find the cult to be zzz.

I got it when it was cheap, because it is always cheap because it's awful and people couldn't wait to get rid of it.

It came out on PS2 as well? I always thought it was Wii/PSP only. Huh.

That said, the only reason I didn't buy Origins was because I would've preferred to play it on PS2 - both versions aren't that easy to find for cheap now :(

Been playing Dynasty Warriors Next on and off, usually before I go to sleep. It's not very good.

Like, it has the basics down to be a pretty decent Dynasty Warriors game, but fails miserably due to falling into the trap of a bunch of worthless gimmicks like we had to suffer when the DS first came out. But even then that's not the only problem. Here is a list of pretty much everything wrong with the game:

Vita Gimmicks: Not only are these not fun, many of them are forced, and even the ones that aren't will deplete nearly all of your health if you fail. The worst are the duals and for 2 reasons, 1 I will get to later and the other because if you lose you have to retry it, you can't just like, fail and just fight them normally like you would actually want to. These are the biggest problem with the game and are not only not fun but also can ruin the flow of a battle.

No Free Mode: 7 also has this problem though to a lesser degree. Conquest mode in Next is neat, but it's a bad replacement for free mode.

Shitty Grinding: All musou games have grinding, and most of the time it's not really a big problem and only something you'll worry about if you want to get all the trophies. In this you have to grind just to unlock characters, there's no good way to unlock characters you won't get through the course of story mode. You just have to hope they pop up during conquest mode and that you get their card. Officer friendship is also awful, especially since you can upset them by not using them in battles or using their stratagems most of which you wont want to use because they're awful so you have to either put up with stupid debuffs or risk upsetting a warrior.

Shitty online social features: During conquest mode the online stuff is kinda cool since there's a chance one of the army leaders will be some other players profile and their created warrior. Shame having Online turned on means you'll occasionally be forced to do a Dual, that you have to do, there's no way to refuse the challenge.

edit: oh it also has regenerating health buuut due to the portable nature of the game I'm willing to forgive that. But not the red filter showing instead of having a proper health bar.

Isn't that the whole point of Free to Play games? (In the eyes of the publisher anyway)

Not if you're SEGA.
