£220 for a handheld!? Ouch. I know its got fancy 3D but how much are Iphones/Android phones now? I don't know if I would want to fork out that much for a console that after the honeymoon period will be used for bus trips...
I only have so much pocket space!

Yeah... To be honest the pricing is kinda ridiculous. There's probably no way I'm getting the 3DS now.

You're only getting it for £156 ($250) that's a pretty fair price in my view. £230 was about what I expected.

£230 is much cheaper than I thought it would be. Shame about the lack of confirmed launch titles.

So what do you reckon, the price will drop to £150 when they realise the Lite version?
Still by then I'll have to spend £200 + on the back catalogue.

Cheapest pre-order thus far is £190, the lack of a games line-up was a kick in the nuts

Game are listing the 3DS stuff at £39.99 per title. Ah hah, that's not funny -_-

I might just wait 18 month for the slim XL version that'll inevitably come out.

However you look at it it is quite dear. I paid less for my PS3. It won't affect sales though. it'll sell shitloads.

Agreed, the three piece of information I was hoping for from today were definitive pricing, release date and list of games that would be available on day one.

All I wanted was confirmation of Super Street Fighter IV 3D for launch, dammit! I was thinking of pre-ordering if I knew the launch list... >_<

Yeahh...preordered mine. With only 4m units floating around in the launch window, I'd much rather get a unit now, probably get a game for it when the actual launch list's announced, and worry about the rest later.
