blah blah blah no darkstalkers

Post by Reknoc »

Capcom had stuff to show at comic con, known for being very video game focused:

Street Fighter x Tekken, typical vs game in the SFIV engine

Tekken x Street Fighter, wait what? Wait... what. It's pretty much the same only developed by the Tekken team.

Also there was something about SFIII. No Darkstalkers.

Not really any point in Darkstalkers now, they were just Street Fighter Alpha games with different characters. And now Street Fighter games have a grillion characters in them anyway.

And the award for 'who can milk the most out of their game engine' goes to...

I love the idea of breaking Ryu's neck with Jin but I cannot see it working, at all.

Even if you ignore the 2D/3D thing, SF's all about fireballs and spamming shoryuken's, Tekken's about combos. The two don't match up

I reckon that's where the two games are going to be interesting.

SFxT will probably give the Tekken characters some special moves to use, whereas TxSF would focus more on the fighting styles of the SF characters.

I'm quite interested in both games, I reckon they could be good. Just need to throw Virtua Fighter in there and it'd be awesome awesome.

Really? I didn't hear about that. SF III online sounds good to me though; I've only played it once in an arcade so it'll be nice to have my own full version at last.

SF x Tekken could be cool though; I'd like to see the roster first though. *Crosses fingers for Asuka and androgynous person from Tekken and Dan from Street Fighter*

Cool! ...What's Mega Man Legends anyway?

Probably! I'm not sure what it is with me and androgynous fighting game characters; first Ash from King of Fighters then Leo from Tekken...
