IGN's planning something...and it's targeted to Nintendo fans.

"If you're a Nintendo fan, you should probably stay up tonight."

EDIT: Yup right around 3AM ET/12AM PT, it's been revealed.

More Mario Kart 8.

Ladies and gentlemen, a 30 year 'legend' has finally been put to rest.

Remember back in the 80s, when Atari dun goofed one to many times, thanks in part to that horrible E.T. game? It was so bad they, allegedly, buried a crap load of wasted and unused E.T. cartridges in some Nevada landfill?

Well, all of that has been put to rest, as they have found the burial site. Not only that, a shrink-wrapped copy of Centipede and Missile Commando was also found. They even had ET designer Howard Scott Warshaw attend the site (blue shirt guy)

Here's the Twitter account that's posting pictures of the discovery.

It'd have been better that they weren't found.

That's brilliant. Heard so many times people saying it wasn't really true. Should have filmed it, would have been the best episode of time team ever.
Tic Tac, sir?
