dont mean to hi0jack but when is it GCSE Results?my sis isnt sure & neither are her mates.... school never said |:

I messed up my A Levels, but I still went to Uni a few years later, so anything is possible!

Not at all my grades but my students all passed Media A2! The majority got very good grades with only a couple of let downs. Still it looks good to the management!
and yeah A levels dont really matter in the grand scheme

(although some uni's in my area have stopped the clearance process altogether because of such good grades across the board) they must be getting easier *rolls eyes*

one mate got all he needed to do geography (lol....) at hull uni

but my mates girlfriend got an A* in Economics and an AA in Business so she'll be coming to Uni up birmingham woot, means my mate wont be leaving me as much to go see her anymore :D (like now... hes been down Portsmouth for 2 months now :( )

It's a shame that so many people will miss out on Uni, but you don't necessarily need a degree in order to get a job or find a path in life. Hopefully there will be more apprenticeships available and that will open up a lot of space.

I'm not cynical, but there are people that go to my Uni just to waste time and party. Then again, it's a lot of pressure to figure out what you want to do with your life when you've only just started to branch out into the world.
