Actually, just to bring up a pedantic point, if you apply this year the fees are the same as last year. The bill doesn't come into effect until 2012.

So now is the last best time ever for poor people that aren't clever but can scrape a diploma in study studies and want to do media tekkers at Manchester Met. Is that about right?

yeah thats true, most of the 6th form students are ok at the moment. It's the oblivious year 11's that are going to feel it.

I'm currently in that year and I'm gonna hate it, I wonder if it would be better to study in another country because I don't trust the education system here
