I've only played this a couple of times, but the handling didn't anything like Outrun 2's to me.

The DS version doesn't sound that bad, I'm tempted to pick it up if I see it around cheap enough.

I got the DS version and its a fun little racer. I've seen in game you can piuck it up for under £20

I'd say they're both about the same, just the DS version is dumbed down for obvious reasons. Storage and graphical limitations. It plays just as well though

Woo, necro! After I've finally got my hands on this game (partly in order to celebrate the upcoming sequel), would anyone be interested in a review by me? :3

Agreed. Reviews of games are usually really interesting even if I'm not interested in the game itself.
