I'm drawing a blank at the moment other than this

Revenge Of Shinobi - Terrible Beat. That song sticks in my head.

Yeah, it does. I think that's kinda cool actually. Cameo appearances are always awesome. There was also Terminator, which eventually turns into what looks like the Hulk when you hit him enough, and Godzilla. Oh, and female ninjas disguised as nuns. Seriously, the game is full of win.

But it doesn't make sense. Aren't Spider man and bat man good guys? And Spider man and bat man are hightech stuff but shinobi's... historical, it just doesn't fit...

This along with the best ending of all time.

Not my fault that I love Streets of Rage 2. And I'd put Solaris Phase 2 which i-oh wait, Sonic '06 was mostly His World overspam, nevermind.

Fantastic choice! The SoR2 soundtrack is just fantastic.

As for mine, I love the last boss themes of Sonic 2 and 3. I also really like the last boss of NiGHTS into Dreams, Wizeman: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=O7jmw5tvroo

The final battle of Panzer Dragoon Saga is pretty strange, kinda quiet. The ending theme is one of my favourites though: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=7DkodadgUwU Maybe we need a credits thread?

I also really like the last boss music from Phantasy Star Online: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=afj4sXyx3kc

As well as the credits from PSO too:http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=OUUAYNM29Ko

I don't really mind when games use their main themes as part of the last boss, it sometimes makes you feel pumped up and rearing to go.

I have no idea which is my favourite though.

I have a 3 way tie as far as favorite boss music goes, final boss songs of Sonic 3 and the Doomsday Zone. And then the Magician's theme, as soon as i hear that i know im in for a challenge.
If I were insane... would I know it?

Yeah just like Sonic Adventure DX. I mean sure, I heard the main theme at the intro of the game but the music in the final boss fight was just something new.

Oh yeah how could I forgot OST of the forevers Persona 3 and 4

Persona 3 - The Battle for Everyone's Souls
    http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=rdMhTL5bZrs

    Persona 4 - The Almighty
    http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=FGUGAHTPcak

RPGs nearly always hit it out of the ball park when it comes to final boss music.
