Of fucking course it is. It doesn't exactly scream with social commentary

Yeah, but that doesn't mean it isn't stupidly good.

Only the first season of Mighty Morphing Power Rangers aired in Sweden and I loved it to death along with all my friends. Then I believe a bunch of kids accidentally killed a little girl while playing Power Rangers or something like that. The show instantly got canceled and we never saw it again.

A few years back I started following Juken Sentai Gekiranger, which is the original version of what I think was called Power Rangers Jungle Fury. It was ok in the way that it basically was an anime, only not animated (aside from some half-assed CG stuff). A bit childish, yeah, but definitely enjoyable.
