This. The PSPGo was just too little too late (and a bit of a silly idea in the first place) but you can't really say Sony didn't support the PSP, especially not in the early days. Third part devs just left it for the DS which was cheaper to develop for and had a larger user install base.

Actually its the opposite, a lot of smaller Japanese devs thrived on the PSP and even some bigger ones like SEGA, Konami and S-E. Sony jumped ship on the PSP pretty early. Which is why I'm saying it's more important how the third parties treat it and not Sony.

Really? For some reason I had assumed that the DS had lower production costs, silly me.

Final Fantasy Type 0 never saw a Uk\us launch. Don't think it will either

Pretty sure S-E said they're working on a western release. Though the demo was terrible so I cant say I'm excited.
