Kinda envy you. The company I work at is massively understaffed right now.... I'll start work later today. Got much longer to go?

We are also kind of understaffed but most companies still have summer holiday. So I'm the only one in the office this week.
Have 2 hours left before it's weekend. Sun is shining so will be great to get outside and work on the tan :)

So my mom, who told me not to tell my dad I have received the money I should have gotten out of my security deposit charges refund check , says she needs $50 to pay for her phone bill. Really?

Now, there's some who'll be like, "She's your mother, so what" oh nonononooooo. With the crap that has been going one since June with her (ala those 'family' issues I mentioned before) I just want to straight up say no.

Then tell her "No." If she's causing you misery then say no and cut her out of your life. You're an adult now, aren't you?

I'd make a cracking agony uncle. Maybe I should start a thread?

I'm not going to 'cut her out of my life' as I feel it's not that extreme. It's more like a family strain between her and her children.

Cute kid. Just remember that children aren't colouring books. You don't get to fill them with your favourite colours.
