I guess the only rayman game I didn't like was that racing game. I still don't like it. I understand that these days, every franchise needs a Racing version of it but that was just crap..

Exactly. Racing seems to be an important part of modern Gaming and so, most franchises want to make their own Racing version of their franchise. But the only Franchises that did a Racing game which ended up good and had sequels was Mario Kart and Crash. They had their unique things. Mario Kart had items. Crash racing games had Drifting.

But yeah, Before we go out of topic, the point is that most franchises always have their own Racing version of a game. Including Rayman, which went down hill.

Rayman went down hill because Ubisoft went down hill and Ancel had much better things to work on, like Beyond Good and Evil.
