Not for all modes, but there were specific modes that she wanted to play XD .

I don't even know how Steam works. If it is a new way to get around Gold Membership requirements for some of TF2's modes, then I will have to look into that.

Yes, there is. Of course the Orange Box was going to be available on the 360 as well. They force you to have Gold Membership for most of the modes on the 360 version.
