It's Ezio from Assassin's Creed by the way. But I'm sure we all know that by now.

Anyhoo, I ventured into a local branch of Game recently and spotted that they had some of those pre-order dummy cases on the shelf for this, you knwo, the ones where you pick it up and think "Oh, I didn't realise this was out" then you turn it over and it reads "PRE-ORDER NOW!" Sadly, aside from the command that I should "PRE-ORDER NOW" the only thing Game felt they could use to market the game was "LOOK IT HAS EZIO IN IT!!!" plastered all over the remainder of the back of the case, barely anything about the game or the franchise. I can't tell if this is due to a lack of popularity for SC as a franchise or Game's lackluster marketing abilities.

It's because it's a fighting game and the only people who will care enough about it are people that are already familiar with the series.

Yeah with rek on this one. Plus game are probably more interested in promoting games like call of duty and skyrim, sure theres a good 3 months left yet plenty of time for the game to gain some momentum

GAME are under no obligation to market a game unless they're paid to. I'm also pretty sure it's the publisher that makes the pre-order covers.
