Certainly a niche.

Ahh, I thought you ment the actual software then. It was the way you worded it. xD

Anyway, I think as soon as English Miku is released they'll eventually port it over to western countries, maybe on the PS Vita instead though via PSN or release PD3.

Talking of the PSP, has anyone seen the limited edition Miku PSP? :)

Vocaloid stuff. You know that voice synthasiser software with the Hatsune Miku girl with the green hair as the mascot?

Her:

There's a series of PSP music games published by SEGA in Japan starring her and her fellow "Vocaloid" friends.

Here is wikipedia's Project Diva page for the game, it explains all there: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Hatsune_Miku:_Project_DIVA

Basicly Project Diva is a music game based on characters and music from Crypton Future Media's vocaloid software packages. Vocaloid is a synthesis program, you type in the song lyrics and the program will sing it. The software is made by Yamaha and they give out licences to certain companies to make the voice banks for the software.

Here's the limited edition Project Diva PSP 3000, there's one on ebay but it's stupid expensive!
