Eh... no I don't think there is a bonus ending when you have all the chaos emeralds. The only bonus you get is the luxury of being able to play as Super Sonic.
There is also no secret ending, unless you count the normal ending in which it shows the shape of Metal Sonic and says "To be continued...".

Then again, I haven't played Sonic 4 in ages, so maybe you see Metal Sonic once you get all the chaos emeralds. I wouldn't know... I had all the chaos emeralds before I finished the game...

That's what I meant, like a cliffhanger ending of sorts.

Played the Demo at PAX east. This is going to be one fun game especially with the new episode metal content when you have both episode 1 and 2. ... LOCK ON TECHNOLOGY!!!!

Welp, the game's out now, for US and UK PSN stores, US and UK Steam, and for the XBLA internationally. Gots any impressions and/or playthroughs of the game now?

I played it for a short period of time. It's amazing. It's all that episode 1 should have been.
Really plays like a genuine, old-fashioned Mega Drive Sonic.

Played the demo. Wasn't as bad as I was expecting it to be. Still don't like how slow Sonic starts up and the springs seem busted. The demo level wasn't too offensive, though there's plenty of time for that to change.

Will get when it's a pittance during a sale.
