About the missions:

You must accomplish a certain task to pass each one (e.g. "finish in third place or better", "clear ten gates within the time limit"). If you are playing in co-op then you "pass" the mission as long as at least one player performs the required task.

So, players at the back of the race can pass good items to a team-mate at the front.

But players earn the Sega Miles independently (though I don't know if they're still called that). So if all the players do well you will be able to buy stuff faster.

Also, All-Star Moves will be usable online (they weren't in the first game).

Lots of new features really makes Transformed even more interesting. I can't wait to play this next entry. Plus the roster has really opened up a lot of possibilities. Curious how many easter eggs there might be.

How many references could SEGA fit into a single achievement list.
I think we have a winner.

Nice to see that, although I don't get all of them. And none of them made me smile quite as much as 'Dreamarena' (play a race online) in the original ASR!

I never play games online so I already see no point in aiming for them all.
Though all the ones that require trick combos were to be expected.

There was almost a virtual meltdown when Amazon USA listed the game as Dec. 11th; implying the game may have been delayed. Turns out a SEGA rep got details wrong...again.

I don't understand what you're trying to imply... :P
Anyways, I'm actually looking forward to this. As long as Sumo keep putting those SEGA games out there, we're sure to be pleased. And we NEED to do a RS tournament (PS3 and Xbox 360).
