I'd go for a new Nintendo console too for a couple reasons. If it's an NES and it meets similar criteria to what I mentioned before that is. For one, the original NES is HUGE and has that zero force insertion 72 pin connector crap that so many people have problems with. Personally I never had any issues but I've seen alot of complaints about it. The toploader NES is really cool but it's RF only. SCREW RF. So I'd like a new NES that takes at least AV and is toploading. They made some toploading clones of it that look really cool but once again, the emulation is not accurate. But they are extremely tiny and ..neat. But once again, shitty emulation = no sale for me.

As for the SNES, there's not really anything wrong with it, so I'd just rather have a normal SNES or SNES Jr.

I would for the Super Nintendo Entertainment System, but I wouldn't for the megadrive. Is that a yes, no or maybe? I suppose like some of you had said, bad emulations are possible.

fair enough.... Sega or Nintendo would have control in creating the updated Console remake so it would work 100%

Emulation wouldn't even be the worst problem (not that either company have done amazing jobs at that), the biggest impossibility would be "the entire library part", too many games, too many companies, some of which don't exist any more and licenses are just floating in the ether.
