The reason they're shorter is the same reason 2 of the songs got cut, licensing issues.
Which as Mark told me once, we have abide by.
I see; that is unfortunate but it's the rule. That's fine; as long as I have the full version myself it's cool.

By any chance Sons of Angels from the same Daytona game my brother mentioned be re-added? Or is that under licensing problems too? I can understand if it is.

Sons of Angels and The American Dream were the 2 tracks that got cut because of this.

Shame really, because I liked all the vocal tracks that game.

Ah, I see. Bummer. I enjoyed those two songs as well, especially "Angels" after hearing it on Late and Live not too long ago. But ya gotta go by the rules! At least we got Akon right? *SHOT*

It happens a lot.
I think it's also the same reason the Sonic CD HD release has no vocals for the Japanese soundtrack. Though that's only a guess.

It's true, that's why sonic cd hd didn't have vocals on the jp/eu soundtrack. The guy who made the lyrics (sorry but I forgot his name) died. How come RadioSEGA still has the tracks?

It was still on the OST that got released a few months ago. So for some reason they can still include the original that way.

What's the status on the playlist now? Still have some to go up or in the process of uploading?

There's three albums that don't play correctly that need replacing.
The Hybrid Front
Columns Crown
Let's Tap

All that's left really. I've done all my personal jobs and the requests I've had now.
Though finding 2 of those soundtracks is proving very difficult at the moment. ResidentSD has Columns Crown thankfully.
