I don't get why Spain are so crap at the olympics. They are basically a world super power in sports right now with an amazing football team and superstar athletes in cycling, tennis, golf and basketball amongst many others. Yet at the olympics they are some also ran nation getting beat by the likes of kazakhstan and north korea. It's not like this was even a bad year for them, 5 golds is about their level.
Tic Tac, sir?

Don't understand the Jessie J hate, so she did some covers. Big deal.
Can't always get the originals to do live.

think people were expecting freddie to appear in the same way lennon did tonite. Or have a rock singer doing it instead of a pop one. Wouldnt have minded seeing the who try it

What a spectacle.

It really were two weeks of enjoyment. I'll miss those days.
Some results met expectations, some others not, but that's competition.

...so it ends here. It will be a long wait for the next olympic season. Until Río 2016.

Some people just don't like Jessie J. As someone who has to put up with their sister blasting her records constantly I can't say I'm a fan.

That's a fun one, but the GEM might be this:

Sidenote... It's been said that BBC has had much better coverage of the olympics than NBC has, but this probably isn't one of them thanks to their Mo Farah homerism.
Beware of your mind as it proves you wrong...

Boris is retraining himself. We'd know if he was properly dgetting down with it. Cameron on the other hand is obviously trying to loosen up but failing miserably in a vain attempt to look human.

NBC's coverage was complete bull imo. Butchered BOTH Opening & Closing ceremonies, had horrendous "primetime" coverage, putting the biggest events with the most profilic athletes near 11PM ET just for damn ad revenue, Had taped events ON THE WEEKENDS, their online streaming was complete crap. Ryan Seacrest only there for the damn Social Download or whatever, spotty inane commentary in some events...and don't get me STARTED on how they treated the closing ceremony...
