It's fine by me! I wish we could restore the NiGHTS one too :)

NEW POSITIONS

I would like people for the News Team, as we've only got two and a lot of news is slipping us by, and also a couple of people for the Podcast Team. Details below:

NEWS TEAM
There are two positions available here. Firstly, I would like some more News Writers. For this position, you'll be required to post SEGA related news on the homepage in a timely fashion, citing sources where needed. You'll also need to be able to source images for use in these articles. I'm looking at taking three more people on, although this may change dependant on number of entrants.

I'm also today creating a new position within this team: News Editor. The Editor will be responsible for ensuring that we are keeping up to date with news, and is to be considered the manager of the News Team. For this role, I am wanting somebody who's capable of leading a team, which includes being comfortable enough to suggest that news gets posted should it slip through the News Writers. They will also have their finger on the pulse of SEGA news, deciding which bits are relevant for RadioSEGA. We can't possibly cover everything (although it would be nice!), so the Editor will be able to pick and choose based on relevancy.

PODCAST TEAM
I'm very sad to announce that, effective from 1st March, Retrix will be stepping down as a member of the Podcast Team, thus leaving KC as the sole member. With that in mind, I would like an unspecified number of people to join us and help out with our Podcast management.

For this role, you will be expected to insert chapters into the podcasts of all our Live Shows, so having access to a program that does this is a must. You will also be responsible for maintaining the RSS feeds for these podcasts, and making sure they're updated on iTunes and RadioSEGA Media.

--

These positions have no set expiry date, although I'd obviously like some people in place on the Podcast side ready for when Retrix steps down. If you're interested in any of the positions (News Writer, News Editor or Podcast Manager), then let me know via PM.

Cheers!

Heads up Gav, it would be helpful if you could give an example of a software to use for the podcasts for the people interested.

Good point... XD

I don't know of many on the Windows side, indeed the only one I've been told about is a paid software, but I think the preferred method is Garageband on Mac. I know that probably limits the number of people who would be interested in this, but yeah. That's all I know.

Yes, we have Macs with GarageBand.
The iOS version of GarageBand is not suitable, in case anyone was wondering.
