RadioSEGA Tournaments

Post by DigiDragoon »

I know these have existed before but I had a word with Gavvie to see if we can do these again and he said we can if we can sort something out. My idea is long running tournaments, not 5-6 games online on a game and see who was the best. I'm talking about 2-3 days a week of 4-5 races that go on for something like a month or so. If the Tournament game spans over a few consoles then we can have a tournament for each, PS3, 360, PC etc. I believe everybody will be wanting S&ASRT Tournaments first, also I would love to hear ideas from you guys to help make these better, would also like to see people taking part to help make these a thing. Thank you for your time :)

It's a cool idea but i can't see it working.

The problems are:

A) Finding games that a few people have
B) Finding a time where everyone is free
C) PLATFORMS! Some people may own game A on PC, whereas others will own it on PS3/360.

On a side note, i'm sure we tried setting something up with Everybody's Golf on PS3... but those update times, bloody hell they're stupid, my PS3's running to a 14mb connecton, downloads off PSN at about 1.5mb/s and after 5 hours of updates i still can't go online with it :( .

A) If we limit to to SEGA games for the time being we can get through them first.
B) We'll try and pre-plan this a few weeks ahead.
C) We'll host tournaments for each platform would should be fine.

And yeah internet can be a pain sometimes, so no doubt with time planned ahead, people could update the games would time to spare hopefully.

I've just had my internet cut off so won't be able to play for a month. I will play if you ever do games I have though. Only have an xbox too. It's all getting complicated already. But do a virtua fighter 5 tournament on the xbox in april and I'm there.

Also you could do high score tournaments too, like one for nights or something like that and accept scores from every platform and see who is the radiosega king of the soft museum.
Tic Tac, sir?

Hmm I was thinking, if possible, these playthroughs can be added to the RS YouTube account in some way?

I don't have an Xbox but I'll try to find someone that does and we'll devide ourselves into console leader groups.

I don't have any recording equipment myself but if someone that does, joined us and took some footage that would be great.

Hmm... sadly I only have PS3... and my Wii won't be useful either.
The only game on PS3 I have right now that's worth playing is S&ASRT but I doubt with my position in the world, I'll be able to join your time.

I only have PS3, would be up for playing ASRT and I suspect that's the game we're most likely to get going.
I also have recording equipment (standard definition only).
