I watched the Digimon the Movie that came over here at cinemas. It wasn't just one movie though, it was like, some weird mashup. All I remember about it is that I had no idea what was going on.

Wikipedia says:
Digimon: The Movieis a 2000 Americanfilm adaptationof the first threeJapaneseDigimonfilms distributed by20th Century Fox. The film used footage from the filmsDigimon Adventure(1999),Our War Game!!(2000), andDigimon Hurricane Touchdown!! / Supreme Evolution!! The Golden Digimentals(2000).In comparison to the original films, Digimon: The Movie had a significant degree of editing, with more than 40 minutes of scenes from the individual Japanese versions cut out to save time and several plot changes.[SUP][2][/SUP]
edit: the first two movies mentioned are Hosoda's

And apparently the beginning of the movie had a bit of angela anaconda or whatever the show was.

To be fair, the movie has its fair share of problems and if you watch the Nostalgia Critic, he'll tell you them all (and complain about some that I would disagree). Though in the end, watching it as a kid, I didn't care. I loved the move back then. Afterall all, as a kid I didn't care about the story. I just loved seeing the good quality of the movie (back then the quality was awesome and still is pretty nice to watch.) as well as the awesome fighting scenes and digivolutions.

This scene of the second part of the movie still gives me goosebumps. <3

Digimon the Movie....I remember watching that when I was a kid. Fox Kids wanted to bank on the success of Pokemon: The First Movie that Kids' WB did. I was young so I was looking forward to it. Today, I can't believe I watched such a mix match of a movie.

Found the 2 Hosoda films. Going to give them a watch... then probably end up watching his One Piece movie for the billionth time.
