The hype for this game is huge, Sonic has finally became a good gaming franchise again. If SEGA drop the ball on this then everything Generations and Colours managed will be for nothing.

EDIT: Didn't mean to sound so melodramatic there, but you get what I mean.

This is true. Even with the exclusivity, if all the positive hype for Lost World backfires, then SEGA once again will never live it down. Moreso Nintendo may get flak for this and thus more hate for the Wii U may happen.

Running...will be automatic?
What kind of crap is this; ala Secret Rings/Black Knight? Sonic Team taking one step forward, but two steps back for this game? Really?

Not sure if good or bad thing.
That worked horribly in Sonic and the secret rings =S

Edit: Sonic has always been able to run up walls etc. xD

Judging from that one quote it doesn't sound like running is automatic to me.

Seriously, where are you getting this automatic running? The IGN preview makes it sound like you have full control of Sonic but you use the triggers to adjust speed (this is actually a good idea). The parkour stuff does sound pretty lame, but if it could work if it meant you couldn't abuse it, cool downs or what not, of if it was like the chase stuff in Sleeping Dogs.

I dunno, parkour may work out well. Its not the typical Sonic action game that we're used to. Past tense since its formulated off of X-Treme's engine design vs Tony Hawk. And it will be up to us to "tilt" the in-game world, so Sonic has a bit more fluid movement. Think of it as pinball without a skateboard.
