In that case I can agree; I thought you was referring to the "LE PARKOUR" system.

I honestly enjoy the fact that they brought back Sonic's figure 8 run. I love the swirly leg animation.

Yeah the figure 8 run is pretty nice, I have to admit.

I can't seem to get over the graphics though. They seem waaay too cartoony. Tooo cartoony.

I think the way it looks is vibrant and yes it does give off the cartoon vibe a lot. But to me, I prefer something like this to how Unleashed's style of "cartoony graphics" went.

Sonic games weren't supposed to be full on gritty when you're looking at it, right?

I don't think Sonic games are supposed to be gritty at all. Sonic has always been a cartoon character, the whole 'tude thing he had going on just seemed to be a product of the 90s.

Wait people are complaining that the game is too cartoony? A game about a blue rodent is too cartoony? I guess people can play Sonic '06 if you like that hideous Final Fantasy ripoff except a bright cartoony world.

Me personally I think games with bright colors and cartoony graphics are way better than gritty or dark or realistic graphics. (Especially when it's about a blue rodent) Im just tired of seeing the Green Hill design, I want to see how the other levels look especially the snow area. Would have been nice if the levels was cel shaded to give it more personality.

I actually didn't mind the Pixar look Unleashed had (Lets not talk about how hideous the Wii version looked) especially when Sonic '06 was the game before which had probably the worse design choice in any Sonic game.
