Can I just lump the Sonic Advance trilogy as a whole? Moreso, Advance 3.

really? number 2 was always my pet peeve.
The level design just...eugh..
I don't mean the literal level design, i mean the graphics, they have an ugly smear over them and don't feel sonic-y in my opinion. As i saw it, it was like Metroid advance and rayman had a baby :S
I have a soft spot for 3 as i love scavenging.

It's surprising how overlooked the Advance trilogy was.

To me, I find the trilogy to be underrated simply because they were developed by Dimps, making people go "oh here we go...". The series had that charm in that the games were like a breather from the main console shenanigans yet still held its own, despite the hit and miss level designs throughout. Plus the MUSIC; honestly some of the best from the Sonic series that I've heard.

Hell, I can consider the trilogy as a whole on par with the first Sonic Rush because they're really enjoyable, in my opinion.

All I remember from Advance 2 and 3 are really terrible bosses. Chase bosses in Sonic are the worst.

1 was really good though.

Sonic Advance 3 didn't have any chase bosses.

That was the only one (which was awful) but the rest were not chase bosses.
