2014: Is It Going to Be a Good Year For Gaming?

Post by TCB »

Yes, asking you, the people of the RS forums, this. Based on the next generation of consoles all bringing their A-game (more or less) this holiday season, how you fare 2014 will go for Sony, Microsoft and Nintendo? Any developers you're looking out for to deliver? Games you're hyped for? At this point in time, what are your thoughts about the matter?

Who knows. It's going to be the first year, which is always rough, for 2 consoles. The Wii U has Smash Bros, Mario Kart and Donkey Kong which is exciting but little else.

As it's going to be the first year for the new Sony and Microsoft consoles, how many ports will we be seeing between PS3/PS4 and Xbox/Xbone? Hahaha.

Pretty much every big game coming out now is going to be crossgen.

Not that surprised; I don't think anyone else is either.

Only have a Wii U so I will be buying the likes of the new Mario Kart & Super Smash Bros games, cutting down on my gaming now as I'm busy with more important things in my life rather than staying indoors all day and just playing video games lol. :P

I actually want a Wii U myself. And I haven't had a home Nintendo console since the N64 so that's kinda saying something.
