Staying logged in

Post by Matty »

Recently had to clear my cookies to keep Google happy so now this problem has occurred but..... How do I get It to keep me logged in permanently? All I can see is the log In box up the top of the page but no option to stay logged In.

It did used to be done on the log In page but I haven't seen It since the site Revamp.

An easy solution for now would be to switch to the mobile version of the forums.
First of all, log out.
On the bottom left there's a dropdown that says RadioSEGA Project 7. Change that to Default Mobile style.
Then the mobile site should load. Once it has loaded on the top right there should be 3 buttons.
Click on the one that has the cross in it (left one).
Finally log in, and check the remember me checkbox.
Once that is done, click the "Full Site" link on the bottom of the site.
Now you should be back on the normal RadioSEGA forums and you won't have to log in every time.
Of course this is a temporary solution, we need to add a remember me option on the new website layout.

Thanks for reporting the problem and hopefully you won't have to log in now every time!

I always just purposely type the wrong password so it bring me to the log in page.

Rek's solution here is actually the easier, but yeah, we do need a Remember Me button added.

Kinda surprised it's taken this long to sort it, actually. Ah well, it'll turn up eventually :)

Well, since I have Chrome, all I do is just hit sign in. My details are already saved so it's fine for me.

I was logged in for 2 years before I got a new PC. Chrome and Firefox both have options for keeping you signed in on any site you wish.
