VG Review - Zone of the Enders HD Collection

Post by kadosho »

Zone of the Enders HD Collection (produced by Kojima Productions)
Action / Sci-fi / Drama. PS3 (+Network) & Xbox360 (+Live)

Story: (ZOE1) A kid becomes the chosen pilot for an orbital frame, a mecha that is on a mission. Until the world turns upside down. It becomes their quest to work together, to save the future or lose everything. (ZOE2) A former pilot takes up the mantle, only to find out his destiny is not his own.

Gameplay: As one, ADA (the AI) helps you on your journey of self-discovery. One part:drama, sci-fi, and action title. The in-game world is open for you to explore, from a to b venturing to stop renegade AI (and outsiders) from causing more chaos. (both games actually take place within the same universe)

Music: An excellent mix of electronic, trance, melodic, and rock themes throughout both games. Definitely a treat for any music fan.

Lasting Appeal: ZOE1 was a fresh start for team KP, however its not without let downs. The graphics are a bit dated, but still works with the remastered format. ZOE2 is more sharp, crisp, and aggressive with the in-game engine (MGS2) If you love games that involve fun storytelling, and diverse characters, along with challenging gameplay. This series is a must own for your library.
