And Shenmue 3 has just passed one million dollars thru Kickstarter funding. Just halfway there. Wow. Just wow. I am still in shock. SEGA allowing Yu Suzuki to create the Shenmue trilogy. And Sony is the company that is willing to provide its release as well as PC, should it become funded, which my very well be according to just how it's only backed half way.
And I love how SEGA is being silent about this. Is this because they no longer own the rights to the IP or something?

Hands down the best thing SEGA-related to come out of E3 in YEARS. Can't believe it's finally happening...
If it can get successfully funded. Then it, it reached 50% of its funding goal within roughly two hours, and once more of Europe gets wind of this hopefully this will give it the spike it needs.
This does make me wonder though, but I reckon it will probably be on par with the first game in terms of size.
Man this is still surreal...I've never officially grew up with this game but I was immediately taken in with its premise, characters, story, music and legacy. I'm quite happy to see the final chapter be written if it can happen.
Finally...after nearly 15 years Ryo can find out who avenged his father's death...and find those sailors he's been searching for all this time.
