Sonic Mania Collector's edition has been revealed. I was gonna get it then I read that it was only getting sold in America. Amazon ships it worldwide but then I'm paying a hefty 30 dollar shipping fee which is almost half the game's price. Why is the world so cruel. :'(

I need to pay 60$ of shipping so... yea, definitely not ordering unless they're doing an European "Mega Drive" version of it :v
An adventure is no fun if it is too easy!

Well im in America. I might get this. But I'm already trying to save up for a PS4 as is so cash spending may be stringent. Wonder how limited the pre-order duration will be.

I don't have a PS4, but I picked up the PS4 version anyway. I do have a Xbox One, but I rarely use it - for some reason I wanted the PS4 edition. I'm hoping I have one by the time the game comes out next year.

It's still such a long time away. I'm not gonna bother with any pre-ordering just yet

Even if I were interested in Sonic Mania, I still wouldn't preorder this edition without a physical disc and a soundtrack.

Concept: "Mobius" is still alive. Check out the "new" area!

Help needed for Sonic fangame project. Artists, programmers, and modelers, mainly. If you are interested, message me.

A physical disc release is something I've heard being talked about quite a lot and I do kind of agree. It feels like a damn shame to not see this game have a boxed release. Even more, perhaps a box that's designed like a massive Sega cartridge.

So it seems that Sonic 2017 will feature a new character and a new gameplay component.

From TSS website:
https://www.sonicstadium.org/2016/10/se ... component/

I think enough time has passed for people to stop rolling their eyes whenever a a new Sonic character is revealed. However, I do think it would have been cooler to see Sonic's already established friends rather than new friends. Though ideally, I would have liked to see Sonic 2017 feature Sonic's friends playable rather than just Sonic and Classic Sonic again.

As for the new gameplay component, can't say anything until I see more but all I can think of is Adventure Style 3D platforming.
