Do I have a console addiction?
I use an 80's CRT TV when I play games in my basement, a flat screen TV when I play games in my brothers' room, and a small CRT TV when I play games in my room.![]()
In USA you can find free ones sitting on the side of the road when people upgrade to new TVs. Craiglist is a good place too.
CRT all the way for me when it comes to anything that doesn't have HDMI support.
I really wish I had the space for a CRT TV, since HD TVs really don't cut it for retro games- the cut scenes in Empire of Steel look particuarly awful. Sadly, there's nowhere I can really put one, so I'm a bit stuck.
image.jpgThis is the monster I use. Not the largest CRT but could do with 5-6 inches smaller.
Mine is a 27 inch screen. Downsized from a 32 due to size and weight. I miss my 32 now.
