One day I hope we'll be able to see real snow weather. Right now snow is more of an environment than weather. It'd be nice to see some proper real time snow weather.

I like weather effects. They really set the mood for levels and can also add to the difficulty.

Real snow as... having a clean environment that gets covered with snow in real time? If so, that would be fantastic.

If that happened with rain as well that would be ace :D like it starts raining and you see wetspots covering the ground and eventurally puddle form and so on.

Weather effects in games give off the that sense of realism in some games. Games such as Jak 2 & 3, the 3D sandbox GTA games...the weather can either make those kinds of games more interesting or pure hell (pure hell as in missions when the weather is NOT your best friend).

Amps the difficulty up a bit with weather like rain when your sliding around the place, but is also funny

I've played games where real stormy weather can cause a bit of annoyance. Such as really rocky platforms and poor visibility.

A mission in Jak 3 in the desert Wasteland had you looking for something(s) and as the clock continued to go down, the sandstorm would worsen til eventually you can't see nothing at all.....the weather did not screw around....
