You should have just gotten Sonic Gems Collectoin which has both vectormans. Although I am not much of a fan and I can't even go through the first level.

Uh I played the original, and there's nothing like playing the original on the original hardware with the original controller. I'm working on building a Genesis collection (a REAL one) which is why I played it on the Genesis. You're only like 13 or something so you may not have grown up with the Genesis, right?

Right on, im doing the same thing. I threw away my old genesis 5 years ago because it was broken and sold the games. I decided to start again, bought a decent model 1 Genesis and so far i have 11 games. Im looking around for Vectorman but I have Vectorman 2

I'm actually in the market for another Genesis. Mine's a model 1 but it isn't the "High Definition Graphics" model so the sound chip in it is not nearly as good. :\

They had high definition back in the 90s? Woah...

Last game I completed was probably Fable II. Forget if I mentioned it or not, but there you go.

I actually did.
You see, Iran didn't always bring the latest consoles and half of the consoles only came. So first came the Atari, than the SEGA Genesis, than the PS1, GBA, PSP, PS2, Wii, X-Box360 and finally, the PS3.
So you see, there was no SEGA Saturn, SEGA Dream Cast, NES, SNES, Game Boy, Game Boy Colour, Game Cube or X-Box.
And I grew up on the time when there was only the Atari and the SEGA Genesis and my family was more of a SEGA fan so many member of my family had a Genesis; My uncle, My cousin. And eventually I got a Genesis too. And I grew up with 2 game franchises which I loved; Sonic and Street fighter. Yeah that's right, Sonic isn't the only thing I grew up with. :P
Anyway, yeah, I did grew up with the Genesis even though I am 13 but I still prefer the modern era.

To each their own. I can speak for alot of people here when I say there's always going to be a special place in my heart for all retro systems pretty much. It's much more fun and less expensive to have the original hardware and cartridges. I've got a girlfriend who may officially be my fiancee soon, which also means bills bills bills. :P Not to mention my other hobbies like Martial Arts. Don't really have the funds or the interest for modern gaming to be honest..and for the most part I reeeally do not care about this current gen other than a few games which I can get (and already have) on Pc.

Just because it was broken, it doesn't mean it didn't have a fix. Learned that by finding an easy solution to fix a blinking NES. :P

Rock on, my friend. I still want to buy Mega Drive games (as there's a local store that sells LOADS of them, even ToeJam & Earl 3, I think), but first I need to see if it's working, so I can grab the cables and such.

As for the topic, Stop all presses, hide yo kids, hide yo wife. We have the best 3D Sonic game to date. Sonic Colours Wii is so amazing. And praised the platforming, it was one of THE most challenging since Sonic 3 & Knuckles.
