I starting playing Sonic Pinball Party for the first time this year.
I think it's been over 6 months since I last played it.
Eggman is still a bitch to beat.

I quite like Sonic Pinball Party, if I'm being honest. Only got a ROM, because finding it on its own on the GBA can be a bit tricky at times, but it's a nice little game to play now and then.

Played American McGee's: American McGee Presents: a Game by American McGee: Alice Madness Returns by American McGee.
Cleared through chapter 1 and I'm liking it a lot so far. Much like the original game it's pretty heavy on the platforming, unlike the original it doesn't fell like a third person quake mod so the platforming is actually good. Combat is decent, bit mashy but it does feel very fluid for dodging and attacking. Graphics are, at times, really quite bad and the textures have to load in because lol unreal, though sometimes they're just bad textures. That said the artstyle is fucking amazing and helps make the game just look fantastic. Really stylish and cool cutscenes as well though some of the dialog is a little disjointed.
This is pretty much what Tim Burton's shit heap should have been.

American McGee is a guy who worked at iD then left, made a game based on Alice in Wonderland with an awesome artstyle but played like shit, decided he wanted to put his name on the cover of his games even though none of them until now have been any good. Then he moved to China and made some games for gametap. In fact Alice was the only one with any redeeming features. Scrapland was okay I guess.

Scrapland looked amazing, never did get around to buying or playing it though.
Will eventually pick Alice: Madness Returns up when I've got some free cash. Interested in that series a lot, despite never playing either game.

I wouldn't be in any rush to play the original Alice, it wasn't very good back then and it's worse now.

Yeah, but it's included with the sequel, so I'd probably give it a whirl. Also - achievements, even if they are part of the sequel's 1000
