Ironically, the GameCube wasn't really shaped like a cube. It's roughly 11x15x15,5 cm.

One can only speculate why they didn't make it properly cube-shaped...

The handle probably didn't help.

The PSP has some fantastic games (neither of the Sonic Rivals are one), problem is you have to dig deep for them and you're boned if you don't order online or use PSN. That said alot of the fantastic games are let down by the completely awful design which they never fixed.

And no Kaito... no... I'm not watching that, I know exactly what it is... Urgh. But at the same time whatever, Jedward have a bunch of retarded fans who, if they see them pretending to play DQIX, might decide they also want to take part in this DQIX thing. And it seems DQIX is doing well, so Nintendo have singlehandedly helped DQ do well in the west.

I'm with Gonic. The only good voice I've ever heard in a Sonic game is Eggman.

It was thrown even further out of whack when you plug the Game Boy Player into the bottom.

The Game Boy Colour, the Game Boy Advance had purple variations and I think some N64 consoles had a clear purple casing.

I just don't understand who their aiming for with that market. Isn't Dragon Quest usually aimed at the 10-15 age market? Jedward fans are usually a lot younger.

Dragon Quest is for all ages.

Though in the west it isn't aimed at anyone, it's just flopped out into stores.

Didn't they design the GameCube so it could be thrown out a window and survive?

Shenmue is back!
Yu Suzuki's studio Ys Net is working on a game called Shenmue City. Apparently its for PC and mobile and due out in Japan this Winter sometime...
Its set in Yokosuka from the original game and sounds like its a social network social game thingy. If they have gashapon collectibles and an arcade i'm there.
Other territories have not been announced.
