I've spent again - Raystorm on the 360. The first time I've done 1200 points on an XBLA title. I bought 3 games all year, and now two in a week.

Found some absolute BARGAINS! Another set of hidden RTS gems by the looks of it - Conquest: Frontier Wars taugt me to look out for these sort of things.
Hundred Swords
Ground Control 2
Warfront - Turning Point
Project Nomads
Originally my hopes lay with Warfront and Hundred Swords - they looked different enough that they'd both keep me interested. The other 2 seemed rather generic. however, my grandad chose GC2 as my test game (currently limited to using my laptop), and it's BEAUTIFUL, I only wish I could play it at full spec with better controls (my mouse is a little iffy, and i get a lag spike every so often, as well as keyboard lockups).
Oh, and the price?
50
pence
each.
Yeah. And they weren't even on sale.
Which reminds me, I need to track down a new copy of C:FW.

I tried the demo and it seemed ok but I don't think I could fork out that much for it. If it's ever on sale i'll definately pick it up. They really should do a shoot them all up themed sale. There's a few i'd pick up thinking about it if they were half price.

I want the Sherlock Holmes game but my 360 isn't a PAL model, and that's region locked to European consoles plus there's no Japanese version.
I need to clean the copy I have. It doesn't look like it has any scratches or anything on it, yet at times dialog scenes skip through at speed, the game can freeze or crash whilst loading..lots of strange little bugs.
I reckon there's probably a fingerprint or something that I haven't quite spotted, so hoping that cleaning the disc'll do the job.

I've got a perfect copy of GTA IV that's fucked and I don't know why. It looks absolutely brand new the disc but when you get to a certain point in a chapter it stutters and then stops. Can't install the disc either.

Well I didn't actually buy it but I won it at Avcon in one of the shows. It's called Bedlam for the PS1. But I tried it on my PS3 and it's such a shit game that I think I'm going to sell it for money(if it's worth any money).

Got Dungeons of Dreadmor on steam which is a neat roguelike game.
Also nabbed the humble bundle with VVVVVV, Crayon Physics Deluxe, And Yet it Moves, Cogs and Hammerfight.

It is stupid trying to sell it for that much when every other shooter is 800 on XBLA. At least they remade the graphics and it has a few different modes in it. I think it's more fun than any of the other shmups on XBLA as well (never been much of a fan of Guwange and Ikaruga drives you mad after a while).

Picked up Dead or Alive 4 for the 360 today. I'm terrible at it. With the DS version I was coping but this game just keeps handing my bum to me on a platter repeatedly.
Fun, though perhaps I should stick to DOAX2. Er- I mean DOA Paradise Dimensions.
