as far as i know it has a old train station and a souvenir store

I've been to Wales, though not that specific place but it's pretty much all the same. I'm sure Wales is fine if you like boring flat countryside and unpronounceable place names.

Hmm. It's not my favourite country or anything but I always found the castles and countryside pretty spectacular compared to the midlands at least. Some of the waterfalls and mountains make the peak district look tame.
