Totally agree.

Low detail, but the smoothness does look cool. Like that Another World game.

" while the title’s broad appeal will ensure long-term sales among casual gamers." Hahahah. Has this been priced yet?

I suppose they should add stuff, as the game will have been out in Japan for nearly 2 years by the time they get round to the UK release. It doesn't make it clear if they mean new modes in the game or just some extra art book or something to make it a 'collector's edition' though.
It's a cool game and that, but I don't think a given soundtrack CD would be enough to get me to buy it again. A whole new arrange mode, maybe.

These schmups are so niche that anyone that's even moderately interested in them will have long since bought a Jap 360 to play em.

Not true, some of us are too lazy to do so.

You're also too lazy to buy it brand new at £40, because you're not really interested in genre to begin with.
Just saying, some japanese things should stay in japan XP schmups are so outdated it's embarasing

Schmups?! Are you dutch now?
They won't sell it for £40 anyway, it'll either be about 8 groats or come with loads of useless extras to try and corner the market that buys mad 'collector's editions'. That's what they did in America.
I don't understand the outdated comment. Can you recommend a game that has similar game mechanics that's done in a much more advanced way then plz?
