So they're only going to be focusing on these four franchises? Sonic the Hedgehog, Total War, Aliens, and Football Manager? And pretty much the only ones for the forseeable future? Yeah, apart for the obvious (Sonic) things aren't looking so good....

....and speaking of.....SEGA of America....is...well....almost nonexistent...

So.... Sega of America is dead... but not dead? I don't get it...

If the American branch shuts down... it'll mean good buy to my future dream job...

No, it was 'rumored' by one of the laid off employees; SoA reps denied it. SoA is still running. Why would the whole company shut down now?

I was only referring to the American branch shutting down. Well I hope that the American branch is still safe. I mean, if it's gone, I'll either have to somehow learn Japanese and pursue my dream job at Sega of Japan or think about some other company.

...Man... I really should stop thinking so far into the future.

My bad, should have reworded that last sentence there. Nevertheless, compant layoffs are never a good thing.

Even if they're not gone I doubt they'll be in any rush to hire more people

That's another good point that pops in my head. Again, I'm still waaay far off from getting a job. I haven't even started Uni yet obviously. Many things will change in 10 years or so.
