Biggest sonic fan wrote:*Ahem* Anyyyyway...
So how about that awesome team action thing from Advance?
All I remember is a needless dumb gimmick from Sonic Advance 3.

I remember 95% of them being useless. The only useful one being Tails tag action

That and the damn chao collecting. Such a tedious chore....

But I had the game, so what am I talking about regarding team mechanics? .....No wait, most of the time it wasn't needed. I only like changing the chao to that of the player character.

Sadly I haven't gotten any of the advance games yet. I was going to buy Sonic Advance 3 from Game Traders but someone bought it before me.

Damn...

The Advance games IMO are definitely worth a look. Infact, they're my absolute favorite Sonic games.

Sonic Advance 2 was good: I sunk a lot of time into the Tiny Chao Garden.

Sonic Advance 3 was mediocre; the only thing that saved it was that remix of the Green Hill Zone theme from Sonic 1.

I can't comment about Sonic Advance 1 though as I haven't played it.

There no such thing as a bad taste in gaming lol.

I agree with you tho. Sonic advance was some of the best in the sonic series

Advance 1.....don't see why many like it. It's mechanics are 'close' for lack of a better term, of the classics, but it felt so slow-paced that most of the game was boring.

Advanced 2 was alright, more speed-oriented.

Going back within my memories, buying and playing Adance 3 was great. Actually enjoyed playing and beating the game, even though the method of getting to the Special Stages was tedius. The level tropes were nice too.

Going back to episode 2 talk, hear the fan-names of the levels? Aquatic Garden? Christmas Carnival/Island? Those sound cool.

Sonic Advance 1 was the best, nice and simple. Some pretty uninspired levels though.

Sonic Advance 2 had better level themes but poorer designs. Really bad boss fights as well.

Sonic Advance 3... well... it happened.

So if this is a downloadable again, which I'm sure it is, I'll have to go and buy a PSN card. I think I would have heaps of money extra, wonder what I would buy...
