I like it, just getting the Angolan nacionality was hard as all there was to hell! (before I flew there, of course.)
And thank you!

Had a massive argument with my "employment training advisor" (I use the term very, VERY loosely)
Long story short, she wanted me to lie on my CV about my work history (I refused as I've known lots of people to be caught out on it) then it dragged up a boatload of other crap and I told her exactly what i thought and that I didn't go there to be treated like shit, but to have help getting into work... which they have failed at miserably
Not so fun was having to spend 3 hours in the Job Centre being passed from pillar to post, sorting out a replacement company... to be told come back tomorrow & try & see my JSA advisor then -.-

That kind of shit is the sort of thing that should be reported.

I've complained to the training manager several times, no reply, told to just carry on & do as I'm told. I've wrote & sent 2 letters to head office in the past... no response.
Managed to speak to a Job centre manager as my advisor was booked all day, they told me I'm still in contract for 6 months, so I'm screwed, but if I write another letter & request to be moved elsewhere they'll open a case with the district office to sort my issues.
I would put up with their crap, but after 18 months of negligence its not fair on me, or anyone else who could be in my situation :banghead: They are here to help me, not to be abused & made to play dirty

Labours Britain, They brought this idea forward, as it makes the stats look nice, technically, i am not unemployed, but in training, so when the unemployment stats come around i'm not included.
Funny thing is i've been with the same people (almost all of them) for the past 4 years, Bizcom fell & became A4E, which became PeopleServe, which is now Intraining. At the end of their initial contracts they don't get renewed & the companies end up busting. It's wrong what the country is doing but hey, i'm one guy & what choice do i have but to obey, or get my money stopped :/

Today in work we told there will be big cut-backs. Only three of us will be kept out of the seven.
Though the ones that stay will be offered more hours. Which is good, however it means I'm going to have to fight for one of those positions.
The ones that are left will be offered various other jobs in near-by locations but the hours will either be less or only a slight fraction more in comparison.
So it appears I'm going to have to push in order to stay where I am and for those extra hours. The only comfort I have is that only four of us are after the main three placements.
Been feeling quite down since I heard this news. I can't afford to miss out on this.
