Well looks like I have no school for quite possibly two days. Hurricane Sandy is sure making its presence known...
More sleep for me it is.

Went to my 9th Mc Donald's shift.
Embarrassing how it was on a monday and I was stressing my ass off and getting yelled at by my crew trainer for not managing my time with the cooking... gosh.

Speaking of food service...
Today I thought, no, was assured I was going to get my two-week paycheck. Nope, massive dickery all around for me.
Went to the office to get my check, my name wasn't on the list. Went to payroll office for clarification. Turns out SOMEBODY didn't send in my time-sheet on time, so the lady was stuck in bind and didn't process it. So NOW I have wait another two weeks; essentially I'm broke for a whole damn month. Only 10 in the damn morning and pissed off. Woopdie-freaking-do.

Teetotal again. Sick of waking up skint, sick and miserable.

i know the feeling, but i'm even more miserable when i'm sober. you've just got to keep going and drink your way through the hangover. if you don't stop drinking you can keep putting the hangover off until the future.

I did stop drinking for nearly three months between June and September, and instantly became a better, nicer person with money in the bank. First time in my adult life since from the age of eighteen I couldn't go more than three days at a push without consuming a good four litres of boozeahol (and that's when I came down to more "sensible" levels; when I was nineteen I would knock back several litres of strong cider and a full bottle of Jack Daniel's in a sitting. I ended up with jaundice and I didn't realise 'til years later that that was the early sign of kidney/liver beginning to fail. I should be friggin' dead.
Glad I'm not, like.
