Went to some party last night (was okay) and a mate who was there had to end up kipping round mine as he'd lost the guy he was originally staying with. I don't mind lending a sofa of course.
When the guy woke up the next day he threw up all over my living room walls and carpet and then left 10 mins later because his cab was here. Fucks sake. Worst part is the only thing I have to clean the stuff out the carpet with is washing powder but I only have one dose left. Was gonna use that to clean my bill grundies. So now I have to choose between a smelly house or smelly pants. Weekend is not getting any better.
The whole flat also smells of sick, my flat mates are gonna kill me when they get back. One of them has brought one of her greek mates round for a few days to see canterbury and convince her to live here. What an impression I'm going to make at this rate.

yeah got a flatmate to get some suds. she wasn't happy either as this guy had slept in the hello kitty bed sheets. After 2 hours of scrubbing on my hands and knees I'm starting to see the funny side now. He ran across the room being sick into the air in front of him projectile style. It was a full on, manic run and vom and sadly he didn't make it to the sink in time.
At least he left biscuits before fleeing the scene of the crime. bourbons. not the best and I have seen them thrown up, but it's a crumb of comfort on a quite saturday night. staying in now after the last two showings.

I'm in the entrepenuerial society at my uni and today was the annual meeting. Won the 'most notorious' award because I'm apparently the mr suave of the team. Bagged a sex and the city dvd for my efforts. Got a quite a bit of female attention at the social too so it was a good night all round.

Cleaning up your own barf is fine, but anyone elses and its just eugh.
The incident reminds me of a similar story from many years ago when i still had my climber bed (bed on top, desk & futon on bottom), where i ended up spewing up all over my ceiling & after using a good amount of sugar soap to clean up, still no dice to ended up having to repaint the ceiling twice.
On topic, i'm sick again yay! After catching that 48 hour bug i ended up with a throat infection, & end up being dragged to a local beer festival, and from that beer festival i end up being poisoned or something as saturday night i spent over an hour hunched over the loo just barfing up the beer & flem (hadn't eaten that day so was asking for trouble) & even now i can't eat without bringing anything up. Doctor has given me some antibiotics & they seem to have helped, to the fact i can drink now without stuff coming up, hopefully i'm able to eat in the next day or 2.

yeah it was orrible. And the guy hasn't even texted me or anything saying sorry. he will not be staying round again.
lol at being sick on the roof though. I can imagine you'd have to repaint it. I didn't realise how powerful the stuff was before, i cleaned the stuff up in my living room within minutes of it leaving the guy's mouth yet it still stinks days later.
Anyway, get well soon that sounds grim.

hope it's a good un then. I always hate first days, especially if it's at a big company where it is all overwhelming. small places are okay though.
I have to finish a presentation on a carribbean reinterpretation of homer.

It went pretty well. Not too many people I had to meet and I was able to get some stuff done, as opposed to the day I expected, full of health and safety briefings.

Sorry, I thought the whole Japan thing would have been more interesting.
